Mark Pereira was born and raised in Vernon, Vermont. He attended Brattleboro Union
High School then went on to Mitchell College of Connecticut, Keene State of New Hampshire, and Greenfield Community College. He studied
Criminal Justice with aspirations to become a police officer. Mark worked with his father
throughout high school and college remodeling homes and knew where his heart belonged. Mark then joined
the Army Reserve as a Field Medic and served his country for six years while also working for ServiceNet providing
care for the mentally ill. After working for ServiceNet, Mark joined up with "Our House", a half way house for adolescent boys.
Although Mark loved helping the community, he had a different calling, building with his hands. Mark began an
electrician apprenticeship and worked his way up the ropes. Two weeks after having their first child, Tye, Mark and Keleigh
Pereira opened Mark Pereira Electric. Since then they have only experienced success with the business and their family. With the addition of Riley, their second son, Mark Pereira Electric's future is vast with possibilities.
Mark and his family enjoy spending time together and participating in family activities, such as mountain biking, snowboarding, and walking their dog to the park. In addition of the family business, Keleigh also servers her community as the After Care Coordinator for Dial-Self Teen Services "step program", which is a transition to independent living program for at-risk teens. She also performs with local theater groups at Shea Theater. With all this, Mark still finds time to study martial arts and stay fit by lifting weights.
